  • In what country are Kamisori shears made in?

    All Kamisori shears in our Damascus and Dragon Collections are forged and
    made in Japan.  Kamisori shears from our Titanium Collection and accessories
    are made and finished in a mix of different countries:  Japan, Germany, USA and
    Canada.  Wherever the Kamisori shears are manufactured or finished, they must
    meet the highest standards of steel quality and craftsmanship otherwise we will not
    carry it in our line.   

  • What type of steel is used to make Kamisori Shears?

    There is a reason why we put "Precious Metal" on our logo.  This is because we only
    choose the VERY HIGHEST possible grades of steel to make our shears.  Some
    examples are  Damascus, ATS-314 Cobalt , V-10 Cobalt,  Molybdenum and Hitachi.

  • Do Kamisori products come with a lifetime warranty?

    Yes.  Aside from a satisfaction guarantee and one year drop warranty, we also offer
    a lifetime warranty with every Kamisori product purchased from us.  All Kamisori
    shears are carefully crafted part by part and hand honed for absolute best
    performance and durability.  Kamisori products are made from quality parts and
    guaranteed to work free of faulty workmanship and parts for life.  Our shears are
    designed to last and be sharpened over and over.  Shears that have been abused /
    damaged by a non-authorized sharpener, shears that have been poorly maintained,
    misused and/or over-worn will not be covered.  It is extremely important to care for
    your shears and maintain them as outlined in the care guide in order to received full
    service.  

  • Is there a refund/exchange policy?

    Yes.  Returns are accept within 30 days of purchase.  The product(s) must not be
    damaged or show signs of excessive wear or abuse.  The product MUST be
    returned prior to 30 days from the day of order.
    If any product(s) is being returned an email or call must be sent to us prior to returning
    it so we can reply back with return instructions.  Please remember that all orders
    MUST be shipped back within 30 days of purchase in order for us to issue a
    refund or exchange.

  • Do you offer a payment plan?

    Yes.  Our special payment program allows our valued customers the option to
    finance any product from our website interest free!    

    How it works:

    Instead of paying the full amount upfront like regular orders, with our payment
    program you pay towards what you owe in small portions once a month over a term
    of three to six months (term is based on your choice).  This way you have flexibility to
    purchase your favourite Kamisori professional hair shears and the total amount can
    be spread over and paid in small portions monthly relieving  the financial burden of
    paying a large lump sum amount all at once.  

    The first payment must be 30% of the total order amount and must be paid by VISA
    or MasterCard upfront before shipping.  Then the rest of the balance will be divided
    evenly and should be paid on the same day on each incoming month for the next
    three to six months.

    There is a $10 processing fee for this program and it will be billed only if the
    application is approved.
